Finding public bid postings without six browser tabs

Public bids are posted openly — that is the point — but they are posted on many different sites: city and county procurement pages, state portals, school districts, transit agencies. Each one has its own login, its own format, its own idea of a due date.

How work gets missed

• The person who checked the sites is out that week.
• A new source was never added to the routine.
• The posting was there but buried under unrelated solicitations.
• The addendum moved the date and nobody re-checked.

What a good routine looks like

Write down every source you bid from. Check each on a schedule, not when someone remembers. Keep one list of what is open, with source, reference number, and due date. Score how likely a posting is to be real work for you so the list is triaged, not just long.
